Every song on here is a cover. Don't expect any Led Zep wailing here! It's not needed, as Plant & Krauss go together like strawberries and cream, each one enhancing the other's voice, and producing a sound so sweet, it has to be heard to be believed.
There's blues, rock, rock and roll, folk, country blues and various other genres. One of the strongest songs for me is "Sister Rosetta Goes Before Us" - a kind of ghostly musical composition of mad gypsy violin and banjos. Krauss's voice will leave you tingling all over.
"Please Read The Letter" is actually a cover from Plant & Page's "Walking Into Clarksdale" - but this version is so much better, slightly slower and much improved by the wonderful harmonies.
This album is well worth buying, it's original, well produced, and has something for everyone.
